ARTC is a major national organisation that plays a critical role in the transport supply chain and overall economic development in Australia. They manage and operate over 8,500 kilometers of track in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland making them one of Australia’s largest rail network owners employing approximately 1800 staff across Australia.

The Hunter Valley Network is a key business line within the national framework which is committed to excellence in performance, stakeholder engagement and delivery of service to all customers. This role will lead structure, performance and culture by driving transformation through partnerships, continuous improvement and innovation.

As the frontline leader for an operations team of 88 within the Broadmeadow Network Control Centre you will deliver safe and efficient train operations across the Hunter Valley in accordance with customer needs. With your team you will identify and spearhead continuous improvement and change opportunities and drive the future vision for network control and a culture embedded in delivering both operational excellence and purposeful and positive innovation.

Your career background will clearly demonstrate process improvement, innovation and collaboration across industries which might include, but not limited to supply chain, transportation, materials handling, manufacturing or resources. You will be a self-assured communicator with the ability to win the confidence of customers, the support of your peer group with the capability to positively influence a diverse group of stakeholders. With a proven management career track record, you will possess strategic, business planning, budgeting, coaching and mentoring skills.
