Our client as an Australian based company developing a salt and potash business that has strong project fundamentals and a 3 year construction phase. Using an inexhaustible resource and a production process driven mainly by natural solar and wind energy, this project is a sustainable opportunity to supply the salt and potash growth markets in Asia over many decades.
Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager Processing and Infrastructure will be a member of the management team and responsible for the management of engineering, project management, construction and handover of the landside project elements for the client’s Salt and Potash Project, safely, on-time and on-budget.
This role will provide leadership and business support to all areas of the business and promote awareness of sound commercial principles to the project and business teams.
In order to be successful in this role you will be degree qualified in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with a proven track record of leading and managing comparable construction projects. Ideally you can show evidence of direct responsibility and delivery of construction projects over the value of $200m. Included within your experience will be the construction and delivery of a processing plant.
A minimum of 8+ years’ experience at Project Management level is expected.
