Reporting to the Head of Operations in Victoria this newly created and challenging role will not be for the faint-hearted. In essence it is responsible for monitoring and liaising with the Project Managers with particular emphasis on construction progress, programs and forecasts in line with all targets set and agreed. The role is also charged with developing and reviewing construction planning, ensuring any departure from the conditions of contracts which could impinge on costs / profits and delivery. Maintaining knowledge of competitors’ operations and an up to date understanding of legislations, industry standards and technological innovations are key.
As a champion for operational excellence and a known individual for mentoring, motivating and leading strong project teams you will provide a fresh approach to the day to day operations. Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, you will have experienced a minimum of around 15 years’ construction exposure principally at Tier 1/2 level. Your high level programming and PM software skills clear and precise communication skills will be to the fore. Work ethic and professional behaviour must be unquestioned.
