This is a critical role for the group reporting to the Executive Manager Asset Delivery and will lead an experienced asset planning and maintenance team. The Asset Strategy & Performance Manager is responsible for asset management planning and the development and delivery of capital works and maintenance programs to ensure that Murrumbidgee Irrigation Limited meets it’s current and future infrastructure requirements. This will be achieved through the development and preparation of long-term asset management plans incorporating growth and demand scenarios, risk management plans, operational and maintenance plans and strategies for the procurement of services.

This is a significant commercial role and you will readily demonstrate your technical engineering knowledge, strong financial and analytical abilities, leadership qualities, influencing and superior communication skills. Your career experience will have deep exposure to the preparation of asset management, capital works, delivery and network plans including funding planning within an infrastructure operations, engineering or maintenance environment. Formal technical qualifications in engineering or similar are essential while knowledge of utilities and water / irrigation would be well regarded.
