Our client is a leader in turnout technology for railways. Due to continued growth they are now looking to expand their operations into the Melbourne market and are looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to take on this autonomous role.
As a Technical Sales Representative you will use your knowledge and connections in the industry to engage with your target audience and identify and win new business while working closely with the Sales and Engineering Manager’s to provide accurate solutions to your client pre- and post-delivery.
You will work in conjunction to prepare quotes and tenders and play a key role in the administrative and contractual work required to support the business.
The expectation will be for you to manage your own territory and operate autonomously, taking full control of building your empire with continued support from your Sales Manager.
Ideally you will have current sales skills and experience in the rail industry ideally with turnout technology. Solid understanding of this industry and a healthy network to grow the business from, will benefit you as you drive sales. A trade background would be an advantage.
