Job Description

Our client is a leading ASX listed mining company and nearing commissioning stage for a world class underground mine and processing plant producing a broad range of base metal concentrates. Approximately 30 minutes drive south of Goulburn and 1 hour drive north east of Canberra – the mine has a number of towns close by, providing a range of housing affordability options to optimise a strong work/life balance.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Supervisor whose key objective is to provide accurate information on set KPI’s in order to ensure high availability and utilisation of all Plant and Equipment. Specific responsibilities will revolve around trouble shooting and problem solving electrical issues and providing clear goals and expectations for all members of the electrical team. The role also requires a high level of safety knowledge, monitoring and implementation – as well as the provision of mentoring, training and development opportunities for electrical team members.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Resource Industry experience in a similar role, supervisory skills training and experience maintaining Crushing, Grinding, Flotation and Filtration plants as well as Air Systems (blowers and compressors). An Australian recognized Electrical Trade Certificate and a C class driver’s license is also mandatory. You will be eligible to work in Australia and be able to pass a medical, drug and alcohol test.
