Port Waratah, have recently completed a review of their operations structure to build on past successes and transition to a new era of aligning their teams to deliver for their customers.
In this newly created role, the Project Manager will be responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of maintenance projects aligned to the strategy of Port Waratah. Reporting directly to the Superintendent Maintenance Support within the Maintenance Services team, you will utilise your Project Management expertise to manage a number of projects and engineering solutions to improve plant reliability. Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently applying industry best practice project management within our Portfolio Management system from concept through to execution and handover. You will be skilled at advising and influencing a range of stakeholders whilst supervising contractors and consultants.
This is a challenge that calls for substantial experience in Project Management and a genuine commitment to safety. Expertise in Structural Asset Management would be an advantage. We are looking for strong communication and engagement capabilities combined with an understanding of change management principles. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management. Engineering or related discipline and heavy industrial experience.
