As the successful candidate you will be contributing to the profitability, growth and return on investment of the organisation by providing superior customers service in a sales capacity. You will be reporting to the State Manager and working with them to ensure sales performance is maximized through providing the best quality and up-to-date information on products and services for customers and sales representative calls. You will have the opportunity to attend training and development sessions to assist you with product knowledge, other development and growths sessions the business organises.
As an Internal Sales Team Lead it will be your responsibility to follow through on all orders to ensure they are dispatched on time and the appropriate documentation is raised, you will proactively seek to increase sales through understanding the needs and expectations of customer and advise State Sales Manager of any new potential customers that could generate new business; and collate, analyse and report on all aspects of customer purchasing activities to State Sales Manager and ensure company vehicles adhere to operating procedures and are kept in good condition.
You will be accountable for maintaining superior product knowledge, maintaining the branch catalogues and communicating all relevant information to Product Managers for consideration of national updates, communicate to other team member’s issues relating to improvement opportunities and supporting other team members to achieve business goals and targets, you will work closely with the State Sales Manager in range extension and inventory levels to ensure the correct range and quantities of parts are stocked for ongoing development.
This role requires a punctual and driven individual with the ability to work in a hands-on environment with a strong customer service focused individual with exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ideally you will have 2-5 years of sales experience in a representative or support function. A background within automotive or aftermarket parts and accessories will be highly desired as will B2B experience in the wholesale and distribution of automotive, industrial, or building products sectors.
