Reporting into the Financial Controller and collaborating with a small, tight-knit team, the Accountant has the opportunity to immerse themselves across Rexnord’s operations with a broad range of financial responsibilities. There is ongoing opportunity for training and mentorship, providing a strong base to develop your career.
Some key responsibilities include the preparation of month end accounts, partnering with operations to support with stock control and variance analysis, account reconciliations and BAS reporting. You will also work closely with the Financial Controller to prepare statutory accounts and tax requirements. As the business is keen to see the Accountant develop, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a number of value-add commercial projects.
Along with a strong commercial mindset, an ability to comfortable communicate with and influence a range of stakeholders is important for this role. You will be keen to develop in the role and take on new challenges to continue to enhance your skill set. As you’ll be working in a small, collaborative team, you will have a willingness to help out others as required. Whilst experience in manufacturing/industrial business is highly regarded, you may be coming out of an accounting firm with clients in these sectors, or a keen interest to learn. You will have tertiary qualification in accounting, as well as be working towards your CA or CPA at a minimum. Alternatively you may established a successful career but looking for the opportunity to balance career and family.
